The Roman Hotel 2 * is located on Romana Street no.1, in the resort of Băile Herculane, on the right bank of Cerna.

The Roman Hotel Complex has 29 single rooms, 146 double rooms and 7 apartments. The 8th, 9th, 10th floors have the old furniture and the new bathroom.

The Roman Hotel offers tourists an indoor thermo-saline swimming pool, a day bar, with a capacity of 40 places and parking.

The Roman hotel was opened in 1976 for the first time, on its ground floor, the Hercules bas-relief, after which the statue of Hercules from the center of the resort was realized, as well as the Roman Imperial Baths, whose founder was Emperor Trajan himself.

Also at the ground floor of the Roman Hotel, the Hercules spring comes out, which supplies thermal mineral water, through a network of underground pipes, to the entire resort.

The conference room can accommodate up to 120 participants, and for larger groups the business event can take place in one of the restaurant lounges.

The conference room facilities include: high speed internet access, video projector and projection screen, flip charts.

The treatment base of the Roman Hotel Complex is equipped with medical equipment type BTL-5000 which offers multiple therapeutic and investigative possibilities that are carried out in two sections: electrotherapy and hydrotherapy.

In the electrotherapy cabinet, procedures are performed using low and medium frequency currents for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes: dyadic currents, galvanic currents, Trabert currents, TENS, electro-stimulation and electro-gymnastics, interferential currents, magnetodiaflux. Therapy is also performed using high frequency currents and ultrasound, with antiallergic effect and miorelaxant.

The aerosols are made with Omron ultrasonic nebulizers, which transform the liquid into very fine particles, easy to inhale. At the doctor's prescription, aerosols are made with drug substances or with sulfurous water.

Hydrotherapy procedures include: underwater shower, general galvanic bath (Stanger bath), sulfur bath.

The medical staff is composed of specialist balneophysiotherapist, leading nurses, balneophysiotherapists and medical specialists, physiotherapists, CFM teacher (medical physical culture), massage and nursing.
